    Get Into the HOSFU Database!

October 10, 2009 GET ADDED No Comments

    What Is the HOSFU Database?

HOSFU LC maintains a private database of Christians in the media industry:

    • Film crew
    • Screenwriters
    • Novelists
    • Producers
    • Directors
    • Cinematographers
    • Stuntmen
    • Actors
    • Publicists
    • Composers
    • And more!

Some of the top professionals in the industry are already a part of our database, including Hollywood producers, award-winning directors and seasoned actors you would recognize from television and film.

What Is the Purpose of the HOSFU Database?

The purpose of the HOSFU database is to enable us to connect the right people together to accomplish media projects that “Promote Christ Through the Film Industry” (HOSFU’s stated purpose). We know that many Christians in film and related media niches also have a heart to promote Christ through their work, but they often lack a resource that enables them to form “a cord of three strands” (Eccl. 4:12). HOSFU has a heart to provide that resource through our database, and we invite you to be a part of our network.

Who Will Be Able to See My Information?

This database is private. This means that only HOSFU staff have access to it, with no exceptions. If HOSFU believes that there is a project you would be interested in, based upon your specialties, we will receive your explicit permission before connecting you with the project.

How Can I Get Added to the HOSFU Database?

If you would like to be added to our massive database and enjoy the connections that HOSFU can provide, please fill out the form below. HOSFU staff will add your name to our database and as God provides “divine appointments” related to your field and/or location, you will be contacted immediately.

    Is This a Scam?

No! Here are a number of testimonials from HOSFU’s professional contacts and dear friends:

I have found HOSFU to be an invaluable resource when it comes to networking and connecting with other independent film makers.
-Tracy J. Trost, President of Trost Moving Pictures

HOSFU CEO Eric Highland (left) networks with producer Tracy Trost (right) at the 2009 ICVM Catalyst Conference

HOSFU is an amazing resource for anyone wanting to take the fast track to becoming a Christian Film industry insider….HOSFU has been a great store of knowledge for me to mine on a regular basis as I develop my knowledge base and passion for this industry I’ve found myself in.
    -Jake Olson, FamilyChristianMovies.com

Thank you for taking the initiative (again) to be leaders in connecting Christian filmmakers.
    -Marcy Grams, ICVM Board Member

There are precious few resources for those involved in or interested in Christian film making.  The good folks at HOSFU and its related groups fill the void for those of us that desire to spread the good news about our Lord and Saviour through the medium of film.
    -Craig Morris, Composer and Actor

In a world that cares more about the bottom line than the moral line it’s refreshing to see an online community that openly promotes both. HOSFU and Christian-Movie.com are a long overdue and welcomed resource for the Christian film maker. It’s even a good networking tool for a non-christian such as I am. That’s why I use it.
    -Danny Jones, Actor

    HOSFU LC

HOSFU LC is a company dedicated to Promoting Christ Through The Film Industry.

HOSFU is an acronym which stands for:

    His Only Son For Us

Our logo is descriptive of our company.

*The royal purple signifies the majesty of Christ

*The pocket watch which makes up the "O" in HOSFU represents the fact that there is limited time before the Christ returns. The hands of the watch are set at 3PM the time in which the Christ gave up His Spirit and changed the positional relationship of the world to God into a savable one.

*The shadow that comes from the pocket watch is a cross as a solemn reminder of the great sacrifice of Christ

*The "U" in HOSFU is catching a tear of God which reminds us that God's heart is grieved for those that do not know Him. However the "U" also catches the tear as a representation of His grace.
