In June 2009, HOSFU CEO Eric Highland was on faculty at the Gideon Media Arts Conference, where he taught a two-part series entitled “Networking: A Cord of Three Strands.” He covered the theological underpinnings of networking and gave a detailed analysis of tools available for networking in the 21st Century. Due to HOSFU’s specialty of networking online, the majority of the methods covered were related to social media (yes, terms like this are always defined for those who need to start at the beginning!).
This guy is an online marketing genius. He is constantly pushing the envelope and completely willing to share every bit of what he’s learned. Eric was straight up honest with everyone that if you don’t get into the game, you’re not going to make it in the next ten years as a filmmaker.

*The royal purple signifies the majesty of Christ
*The pocket watch which makes up the "O" in HOSFU represents the fact that there is limited time before the Christ returns. The hands of the watch are set at 3PM the time in which the Christ gave up His Spirit and changed the positional relationship of the world to God into a savable one.
*The shadow that comes from the pocket watch is a cross as a solemn reminder of the great sacrifice of Christ
*The "U" in HOSFU is catching a tear of God which reminds us that God's heart is grieved for those that do not know Him. However the "U" also catches the tear as a representation of His grace.
