Are pleased to present
The 2010 Short Film Contest!

If you have a short film that is 5-30 minutes in length – including credits – we invite you to be a part of our Short Film Contest! Our four prize packages include a cash prize, free tuition to Gideon 2011 and a one-on-one meal with the faculty member of choice at Gideon 2011.

“As the co-directors of the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival, Rodney and I are so excited to be joining forces with organizations that have our same calling, passion and excitement, to spread the hope of Jesus to a confused world,” says Lori Marett. “Media represent a global force in all cultures, and we stand in awe and anticipation as we wait to see God’s mighty hand at work through the films that will be produced because of this contest. Rodney and I are sure that this competition, under the sponsorship of HOSFU, will foster excellence in film making and enable the delivery of messages that will touch lives eternally.”

HOSFU LC

HOSFU LC is a company dedicated to Promoting Christ Through The Film Industry.

HOSFU is an acronym which stands for:

His Only Son For Us

Our logo is descriptive of our company.

*The royal purple signifies the majesty of Christ

*The pocket watch which makes up the "O" in HOSFU represents the fact that there is limited time before the Christ returns. The hands of the watch are set at 3PM the time in which the Christ gave up His Spirit and changed the positional relationship of the world to God into a savable one.

*The shadow that comes from the pocket watch is a cross as a solemn reminder of the great sacrifice of Christ

*The "U" in HOSFU is catching a tear of God which reminds us that God's heart is grieved for those that do not know Him. However the "U" also catches the tear as a representation of His grace.
